  • You are an adult and legal resident of Australia. You can get a background clearance document from your local authorities.
  • You are legally permitted to take the course.
  • You are ready to appear for any competence-mapping tests or interviews taken before the course, to ensure your fitness for the program. You should also have the apt linguistic, numeric, and communication skills to excel in this program.

The program has been designed to help you take two routes:

  • Academic Route: You can get Certificate IV Individual Support Course/ Program, a Diploma or Degree in a similar area. You can also look for relevant short courses in Darwin.
  • Professional Route: You can work in a community care facility, healthcare facility, public institution, or as an individual caretaker after you have acquired the necessary licenses and graduated from the course.
